Crioestaminal, Iberia’s first private cord bank and Portugal’s largest, is Exogenus’ partner for umbilical cord blood processing and storage. With nearly 20 years of experience, Crioestaminal has provided a life-line for children in need of cord blood transplants. Located in Biocant, in close proximity to Exogenus Therapeutics, Crioestaminal is one of the banks in FamiCord Group, the largest cord blood bank in Europe and fifth largest worldwide.
The Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology (CNC) is a scientific institute that aims to foster biomedical research and multidisciplinary graduate teaching. As an institute of the University of Coimbra, this center aims to bridge basic research to biotechnological advances, by partnering with the pharmaceutical industry and medical community. Their key location allows the training of human resources in an industrial setting, while facilitating technology transfer.
