Exogenus Therapeutics is a biotechnology company dedicated to advancing innovative healthcare solutions based on extracellular vesicles (EV). Our lead asset, EXO-101, is expected to enter clinical trials in early 2028.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- We are looking for an experienced Project and Research Funding Manager, to integrate our Innovation Department.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Coordinate ongoing research projects, including one multi-partner international consortium, tracking work packages and ensuring deliverables are submitted on time.
- Monitor administrative, scientific and financial obligations.
- Ensure compliance with funding agencies, including Horizon Europe rules and regulations.
- Lead the development and continuous update of Data Management Plans.
- Organise meetings as planned (progress meeting or Steering Commitees).
- Ensure that research outputs follow FAIR principles.
- Monitor partner spending and lead or assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports.
- Manage project’s websites and social media, posting updates when needed.
- Identifying and preparing new grant applications.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience with project management, including Horizon Europe (mandatory).
- Scientific background (MSc/PhD) in life sciences.
- Experience in identifying and writing grant applications.
- Excellent proficiency in English. Ideally, knowledge of Portuguese.
- Ideally, prior experience with financial reporting.
